Made in China, lost small cars of the 1990s.

Large range of small cars made in the late 1980s and early 1990s based on the platform of the 'mianbaoche', small minivans derived from the Japanese kei trucks. Nearly all these makes and models disappeared in the late 1990s when the central government initiated requirements for type approval.
This is the newest history document in an interesting series which describes the early years of the Chinese automotive industry. By publishing these documents China Motor Vehicle Documentation Centre wants to give back the historical material about this industry to China.
